Coconut oil owes its exceptional advantages to, among other things, medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) which consitute the largest part of fatty acids it contains. Additionally, thanks to the presence of lauric and caprylic acids, which have antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties, it helps to fight microbes.
Antioxidants that coconut oil contains reduce inflammation in the body, what has the positive effects on the health of the skin. Coconut oil is also used for personal hygiene and body and hair care.
In the kitchen, it can be added to all kinds of meals, soups, shakes and smoothies. Moreover, saturated fatty acids in coconut oil are resistant to oxidation and high temperature, and that is why it is also used for frying.
My coconut oil is organic, unrefined and cold-pressed, therefore, has a maximum of its beneficial properties.
How to use: Coconut oil is ideal for frying and baking. It can be also added to smoothies or porridges. It is also used for personal hygiene and body and hair care.
Storage: Keep in a cool and dark place. When the temperature is lower than 25°C, the oil becomes solid; over that temperature it becomes liquid. Multiple changes of a state of matter do not influence the quality and nutritional value of the oil.
