Guarana is a plant native to the region of the Amazon rainforest and its fruits are small red berries. It is one of the best natural sources of caffeine - its content in the fruit is from 3 to 6 %. Guarana has a similar effect to coffee, however, it lasts longer. Guarana has a range of beneficial effects on our body, for example, it eliminates tiredness, boosts endurance and focus, improves long-term memory and can improve general well-being.
Caffeine that guarana fruits contain helps to lose weight and has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. Moreover, such compounds as theobromine and theophylline that the fruit contains increase the effect of caffeine.
Guarana is an excellent alternative for people who don’t drink coffee, but still look for some source of stimulation.

How to use:
Guarana can be added to, e.g. water, juice or shake. It is best to start taking Guarana from small doses and not exceed one teaspoon (around 5 g). With time, a dose can be increased to 10 g (two teaspoons).
Attention: the caffeine content in one teaspoon can be up to 250 mg.
