Pancakes without milk, eggs and added sugar - learn about the ingredients in Foods by Ann pancake mix
In a convenient package, which you can easily take with you on a weekend outing or on further holiday trips, there is a mix of as many as 6 flours in ideal proportions: rice, tapioca, chickpea, coconut, lupine and flax. Learn about their properties!
Rice flour
Makes an excellent base for pancakes, keeping them light and tender. It is naturally gluten-free, making it an ideal choice for people on a gluten-free diet. Rich in carbohydrates, it provides the energy needed for daily activity.
Tapioca flour
Extracted from cassava root, it adds a unique, slightly springy texture to pancakes. It is easily digestible and gluten-free. Tapioca also brings a subtle sweetness, enhancing the natural flavors of other ingredients.
Chickpea flour
Enriches the mixture with vegetable protein, which is especially important in vegan and vegetarian diets. Adds not only nutritional value to pancakes, but also a slightly nutty flavor, enriching their taste.
Coconut flour
Contains healthy fats and is rich in fiber, promoting proper digestion. It gives pancakes a subtle, exotic flavor, which goes well with a variety of ingredients, both sweet and savory.
Lupine flour
A source of vegetable protein and many vitamins and minerals, including iron and magnesium. It introduces a slightly creamy texture to pancakes and enriches them with additional nutritional value, making them a filling meal.
Flaxseed flour
Thanks to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids and lignans, it has anti-inflammatory properties and supports heart health. Flaxseed flour also acts as a natural thickener, improving the texture of the pancake batter and adding nutritional properties.
How to prepare quick pancakes from our mix?
Our product contains 200g of dry blend of naturally gluten-free flours without wheat flour. Preparing tasty and filling pancakes for the whole family for a sweet breakfast or a filling afternoon snack is really easy!
- Prepare: 280 ml of vegetable drink or milk, 240 ml of boiling water, 74 g of coconut oil and 2 eggs (omit if you want vegan pancakes).
- Place the vegetable drink/milk, boiling water and 24 g of coconut oil, optional eggs in a bowl and mix, gradually adding the flour mixture.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- Set the blended mixture aside for about 8-10 minutes to thicken and vent.
- Grease a frying pan with a small amount of coconut oil (remember the edges!) and heat on ½ power burner. Remove excess fat - the pan should only glow slightly.
- Stir the batter thoroughly (from the bottom), take about ¾ of a ladle and pour onto the heated pan. Spread the batter in a thin layer, using the bottom of the spoon or rotating the pan.
- Fry until lightly browned, for about 2 minutes on one side and about 1.5 minutes on the other.
- Stir the batter before frying each successive pancake and grease the pan if necessary.
- Stack the fried pancakes one on top of the other and cover with a plate to keep them from drying out.
What can you serve our pancakes with? There are plenty of possibilities! From jams, nut pastes, chocolate creams and mousses, to yogurts, cheeses, fruits, whipped cream, ice cream, nuts, honey and sweet sauces and sprinkles.
