No Make Up Skin is a super dose of vitamin C, copper and plant extracts with super powers! Do you sometimes want to lock concealing makeup cosmetics in a drawer? Get to know the unique ingredients of the supplement, thanks to which you will take care of the beauty and health of your skin in a comprehensive way.
Vitamin C - is an antioxidant that bravely fights against free radicals that accelerate the aging process*. In addition, it affects the production of collagen fibers in the skin, which are responsible for maintaining its firmness and preventing the formation of wrinkles*. Current research suggests that vitamin C may have an amazing ability to protect the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. Another major skin benefit that vitamin C is known for, and suggested by scientific literature, is its ability to brighten the overall appearance of the complexion and even out skin tone. (1.2)
Bitter orange extract - is a natural source of bioactive ingredients, which include e.g. phenols, flavonoids, alkaloids, vitamin C and essential oils. Particularly noteworthy are bioflavonoids, which, according to scientific publications, have beneficial antioxidant or anti-inflammatory effects. (3,4,5)
Pearl extract - its anti-inflammatory properties result from the high content of rutin, which is also often called a natural pigment. (6) Rutin is also responsible for supporting circulation, especially in terms of elasticity of blood vessels, thus protecting them from the effects of sunlight. (7)
Copper is definitely an underestimated beauty secret. Its properties make it great at dealing with oxidative processes. Few people know that it also takes part in the production of melanin - the pigment that is responsible for the color of hair and skin*.
Lycopene and Zealutein® - belong to a group of nutrients called carotenoids. These are naturally occurring pigments that are largely responsible for the red, yellow and orange colors of the fruits and vegetables in which they occur. When it comes to skin health, one of the most important functions performed by carotenoids is their antioxidant properties. Exposure of the skin to the sun (UV rays) promotes the proliferation of free radicals. When there are too many of them in our body, there is a massive attack on damaging the structure of proteins, lipids and even DNA. In this situation, the use of carotenoids is an excellent help for the skin - their properties eliminate the effects of free radicals and protect against oxidative stress. (8,9,10)
BioPerine® black pepper extract - a valuable active substance called piperine contained in it affects blood circulation and the condition of blood vessels and capillaries*. A properly functioning circulatory system allows you to provide all the necessary ingredients and oxygen that skin cells crave to maintain a healthy appearance. Studies also suggest that piperine may affect the proliferation of melanocytes - cells responsible for proper skin pigmentation, but more research is needed to confirm this thesis. (11)
* Vitamin C helps in the proper production of collagen to ensure the proper functioning of blood vessels and skin, and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
* Copper helps maintain proper skin pigmentation. Helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
* Piperine helps cleanse the skin by promoting blood circulation through the tiny blood vessels and capillaries.
