Summer has inspired me to prepare a new shake.
Strawberries are rich in iron, potassium, fibre, phosphorus, magnesium, B vitamins and vitamin E and C. They are a perfect snack for diabetics as they have a low glycemic index. They accelerate fat and carbohydrate burning and enhance metabolism. Pectins cleanse intestines and benefit natural gut flora.
Lucuma is a very sweet fruit, however, it has a low glycemic index and is recommended to diabetics. An orange colour means that there is a lot of beta-carotene. It is also a source of such nutrients as: magnesium, zinc, potassium, calcium, iron, vitamin C as well as B vitamins, fibre and antioxidants, thanks to which lucuma has its properties. First of all, it helps to lose weight, supports the functioning of the digestive and nervous systems, and improves autoimmunity. It helps to stop the time as it reduces oxidative stress and slows body aging processes.
Maca is a source of: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, iron, sulfur, zinc and vitamins B1, B2, C and E. It is a perfect addition to the vegetarian diet as it contains 18 amino acids, lowers blood pressure. It improves vascularisation, so it is considered to be an aphrodisiac and has a positive influence on female and male fertility. It is also a great antidepressant.
